A beautiful ALKA Kunst Konach tea cup and saucer set featuring the exquisite "Burgund" pattern. Both pieces have a gold pattern on cobalt blue glaze. The cup inside is highlighted with elegant gold filigree. The edge of both the tea cup and saucer are trimmed in gold - with the saucer has a lovely scalloped edge. Very glamorous and luxurious design! This teacup and saucer is very old, and simply beautiful. It looks as if a queen would have sipped tea from it. It dates from 1945-1949, The photos really do not show it justice. This cup and saucer would make a wonderful gift or a fine addition for a collector.

This teacup and saucer is in excellent condition blue with gold paint there's no chips or cracks or breaks . There are no chips, cracks, crazing or restorations. I don't see any of the gold paint missing I don't think the cup was ever used seems to be in pristine condition. (See Photos - More photos available upon request.)
