20th Century Isaac Jeheskel - Sterling Silver 9.25 Sculpture Rendition of Michelangelo's Sculpture of Moses with the Ten Commandments
Isaac Jeheskel is an Israeli artist. He primarily makes figures and base reliefs cast in silver. His subjects are biblical Jewish culture. Rendition of Michelangelo's Sculpture of Moses bringing the Ten Commandments down from Sinai to the Children of Israel.
The figurine depicts Moses, holding the tablets with the Ten Commandments under his right arm, bringing them from the Sinai mountain to the Israeli people. With the left arm he makes a triumphant gesture. Moses is depicted with a long beard and he wears a rough cloak.
The figurine stands on a rough marble type base. The base has a sterling silver plaque with the text: "ISAAC JEHESKEL". The Moses figurine has been stamped on the back bottom with "925 Sterling". The statue is in a very good condition with its original patinated. The statue (without base) weighs 58.2 grams of sterling silver.

In Lovely Condition for its age. The statue is in a very good condition with its original patina. Has a small crevice on the backside of the book pages as shown in photo, it's small and does not take away from the beauty of this piece. (See Photos - More photos available upon request.)
